Board of Directors

Founded in 1997, the Canadian Association of NLP is a national association that is dedicated to stimulate and encourage the promotion and development of the worldwide practice of NLP.

The Board of Directors

CANLP/ACPNL Officers strive to provide a concerted and mutually determined effort, on behalf of its members. The Board of Directors is composed of a virtual team who meets via telephone conference and emails.

The Board of Directors is composed of

  • Vice President
  • Treasurer
  • Suppose Editor
  • Secretary
  • Webmaster
  • Member at large, maximum of 9

Elections take place at the annual GM Meeting at the conference .

The Board of Directors Vision

The Board of Directors is composed of members who have a personal commitment and belief in the value of the Canadian Association of NLP.

The Board of Directors is composed of members who have an awareness of the value of each individual's contribution in the continuation of the Canadian Association of NLP.

The Board of Directors is composed of members who are willing to engage and work collaboratively together with a common purpose to promote the Canadian Association of NLP.

What Does The Board of Directors Do?

  1. The Board of Directors determines policies to implement orientations and decisions approved by the members at the General Meeting
  2. The Board of Directors administers the affairs of the Association and approves the budget
  3. The Board of Directors authorizes expenditures on behalf of the Association
  4. The Board of Directors hires staff or contracts out services and prepares reports on financial situation and reports on activities
  5. The Board of Directors creates committees and is responsible for the coordination of activities of the Association
  6. The Board of Directors selects CANLP’s Award recipients and bestows Honorary Life Memberships
